Welcome to the Shikaripara Mahavidyalaya website : shikariparacollege.org.in. Shikaripara Mahavidyalaya aspires to “Empower all Students to Succeed in their World. This website serves to assist you all and other all concerned people to become acquainted with our Mahavidyalaya and the many activities which take place. This website is also meant to make all the things and aspects of the Mahavidyalaya very transparent to all the concerned.
We live today in a world that is so very different from the one we grew up in, the one we were educated in. The world today is changing at such an accelerated rate and we as educators need to pause and reflect on this entire system of Education.
Aristotle once said that, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” Even as we impart education to match the advancement in technology and globalization, we march our children ahead with Mahavidyalaya’s ethos of moral values and principles. We endeavour constantly to instill these qualities in our children. We pride ourselves to help them grow and develop into sensitive and responsible citizens of the next generation.
A committed and supportive management, dedicated teachers, and non-teaching staff blend harmoniously to run the Mahavidyalaya smoothly. It is natural to find in this ambience, the intensive use of a variety of thinking, Academic and Social activities, strategies and group dynamics so that the learning become alive. Teamwork is the hallmark of the Mahavidyalaya. I am very sure through collaborative effort we can achieve more to benefit our students who are the future leaders of tomorrow.
In this era of cut throat competition, it is of paramount importance to impart an integrated education to the future citizens of the Nation for successfully facing multitasking platform of life. The Mahavidyalaya, therefore, lay special emphasis on both co-curricular and extra-curricular activities providing students an edge over others to be a leader in their respective field of activity. The wheel would also be a true reflection of all these diverse achievements and progresses made and being made by the school in fulfilling the coveted goal of imparting disciplined and quality education.
Our goal at the Mahavidyalaya is to provide an enriching, engaging, and challenging curriculum that will prepare students for success while at the Mahavidyalaya and for the years that follow. We believe that students, parents and teachers all play a vital role in helping students reach their greatest potential.
Finally I would like to expect from the Mahavidyalaya Pariwar that they will extend their cooperation and support to developm the Mahavidyalaya to its greater extent, which we have targeted.
